I sympathize. I’ve got 10 weeks to go, and we’re still trying to make some big decisions about daycare and other fun stuff. Not to mention we’ve barely begun cleaning out the office to make it a nursery, much less started decorating. My oldest’s birthday is this weekend, and we installed hardwood floors last weekend, so the stress levels have been up a little. I broke down in tears when my hubby asked me what was for dinner one night last week. Hang in there. I keep reminding myself that in the grand scheme of things, whether I get the baby’s room painted before he gets here won’t make too much difference.

I found your blog awhile ago, but didn’t realize we have so much in common. I completely understand where you are coming from. I turned 25 weeks just yesterday and its crazy to think I’m going to have 2 kids in a few short months. My issue that came up this week was that I’m not letting my 2 yr old daughter be in a wedding in September because I’m scared to take her and a baby to a wedding if my husband has to work. The thought of what could happen freaked me out. Oh, the other thing we have in common are baby names. I plan on naming my little girl Grayson Nicole.

All I keep telling myself about my anxiety is to take on thing at a time and I don’t have to be superwoman handling everything alone..

I’ve found that sometimes I need to self-edit. What would my kid do if in ten years they read about themselves here?
Besides the blog, I’ve found a supportive community on a message board which has helped with those situations. Perhaps that’s an option?

This post made me feel so much better. My (almost) 2 year old is OUT OF CONTROL over Chuggington. We eat, sleep and breathe it at our house and this first thing out of this mouth in the morning is “where’s action chugger!” Thanks for the ideas and the post – I’m so glad to know I’m not alone in this “chug chug” world that I’m currently living in!
