{Not So} Wordless Wednesday: Looks Can Be Deceiving

First, don’t forget to enter my giveaway from my BlogHer sponsor, Bambino Balls, for some adorable sports-themed baby and toddler clothes!  It ends Friday, so hop to it!

Second, my apologies that this is my first blog post this week.  This first trimester stuff is kicking my butt and I’m usually completely brain dead by 6 pm.

Third, there’s this:

Normally I try not to be too chatty on Wordless Wednesday, but this picture needs some back story.  See how cute Bink looks?  What an innocent face he is making?  Look at me, Mommy!  I’m such an angel!

I feel compelled to point out that the lovely dark background of this picture is actually the grimy concrete floor of a very long ride line at Disneyland.  Bink waited patiently for most of the rides, but with no nap in sight by the late afternoon he just sort of…melted.  So he did what any tired, cranky two-year-old would do.  Lay down on the nearest (dirty) surface to rest.

I probably should have peeled him off the floor and disinfected him thoroughly.  Instead I took pictures.

Ha! I say you’re fine without disinfecting… build up those immunities!

I would take pictures too. Besides, sometimes a dirty grimy floor is just what you need to feel better :) He looks so cute! I love the shirt!

Awww, I love him! Squirt did the same thing at the zoo the other day and I just kind of stood there and watched him until he composed himself. Joy of toddlers!
