Photo Story Friday–Bink’s Birthday Photo Shoot
I posted the first picture from this series last week for Photo Story Friday, and somehow, even though a week has passed, I haven’t managed to blog about the photo shoot yet. So, here it (finally is). Don’t point out that I still haven’t shared pictures from his parties yet. I know. I know. I’m on it.
After the birthday trip to the zoo (resulting in a super cute story book), we came home to rest for a little while before heading to Grandma’s for Bink’s birthday party. Instead of resting, Bink wanted to show off his new walking/wobbly running skills. Hubby got a phone call from work and with no Bink nap in sight, I snagged him and went down to the little beach in our neighborhood.
I let Bink toddle around in the grass and sand and set my camera to “shutter burst”. Or whatever the technically a name for taking eight million pictures when I click the button is. I love these pictures, not because any one of them is especially perfect, but because they really show Bink’s one year old personality. He is so happy and inquisitive. He can’t sit still because everything is exciting and should be explored. I love looking at the world through his eyes. And I loved that we got a brief little mommy-baby moment on his birthday, just the two of us.

adorable pictures!! you are absolutely right, they truly show Bink’s personality right now, I love the last one at the beach, it looks like is trying to find the balance and not to fall.. Cute!
